Ammante Jewells is delighted to be part of the second edition of the India–UK Gem & Jewellery Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM), organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The event returns to London in July 2026, building on the outstanding success of its inaugural edition held on 8–9 July 2025 at Arsenal Stadium.

A platform for India’s finest

The BSM is designed to connect India’s most accomplished gem and jewellery manufacturers with top-tier UK buyers — including major retailers, wholesalers, importers, and distributors. Last year’s event drew over 100 UK trade professionals, with respected names such as Brown & Newirth, Gemporia, and Optima among the attendees. The 2026 edition is set to be even more significant, with approximately 15 Indian manufacturers showcasing their latest collections.

Why this event matters

The India–UK BSM comes at a pivotal moment for bilateral trade. The forthcoming India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is expected to unlock significant new opportunities for Indian jewellery exporters, reducing tariffs and streamlining access to one of the world’s most discerning jewellery markets. The UK is home to an estimated 800–900 British South Asian jewellers, and demand for India’s design-led, handcrafted jewellery continues to grow.
